The work boasts the most exquisite detail with brass candlesticks, decoy ducks, a capstan inkwell and paperwork to the bureau, an open window flooding the room with light with the reflected details picked out on the wooden floor and rug and a gateleg table upon which sits a vase of flowers and an open book. Label verso with the name 'Mrs G. Macdonald' legible. There
