Anne Teese Size:5 gal field plantThis maddenii type hybrid rhododendron is from Australia but can also be found in New Zealand. This plant has nicely fragrant flowers that bloom in early April here in the Pacific Northwest. The bark is cinnamon colored and peels more with age. Weekly watering should be sufficient unless your area is dry and hot

Blooms well even in shade
