Stock met Dean in Hollywood in January 1955 and intrigued, began to photograph him. Following him on a visit from his birthplace in Fairmont, Indiana, to New York City, and back to Hollywood, Stock recorded unforgettable images of the young actor in both his professional and private worlds.
