Qiviut Headbands heirloomQiviut headbands are a new product by Nunavut Qiviut. Customers have asked about them, so we have launched a limited edition! These headbands are available in 8 colours and 3 designs or motifs from the same Nunavut Qiviut yarn and motifs as our toques. They base colour is made from 50 40 10 qiviut superfine merino silk yarn in natural and 7 organically dyed colours. The Qilalugaq (beluga whale) and Nanuq (polar bear) motifs are made with 30 60 10

The qiviut lace scarf is a versatile accessory and can be worn as a large scarf

Care instructions: hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent

We include photos of the midnight colour 100% qiviut yarn with other 100% qiviut colours in diffuse light inside the igloo and in bright light outside to demonstrate how the midnight colour is expressed in different light conditions

It is normal for the qiviut to bloom further and become softer with wear and washing

Care instructions: hand wash with a mild soap
