Shasta Daylight Train, Portland to San Francisco Size:16.6x24The Shasta Daylight train ran from Portland to San Francisco and back. The train ran from 1949 1967 and took 15 and a half hours to make the trip in either direction. This was a great replacement for the heavyweight trains that took nearly a full day and night to make the same journey.
