Thorpe Bay Bead PortugalInspired by the popular beach of Thorpe Bay! To create this beautiful bead we start with a small core of cobalt glass which is rolled in a unique blend of frit we have created for Thorpe Bay. These tiny shards of yellow, orange and blue glass are left raised on the core before we encase the bead in clear glass and sprinkle a few more shards of frit on the surface to add a bit of texture.

The center of the bead is made in a bright green glass and then encased in clear to give it depth

one from Gyllyngvase and one from St Mawes Beach and we've hung them on a Nalu Silver Necklace

We started with a clear glass bead which is then carefully decorated with red

The four ski areas of the resort are jointly known as the Aspen snowmass

Here's a little insight to the great work that this charity does

it has a 19th century pier and a bandstand

had already designed a beautiful image of a compass for us and therefore it seemed perfect to use this image on our bead

The inspiration behind the bead is from the colours found along the coastline of Robin Hood’s Bay
