to the nose it shows intense and persistent perfumes of wild flowers and aromas of yellow pulp fruit such as peach

Often the most savoury of our Shiraz blocks

The nose and palate are manic in the way they change

There’s no real x-factor to this release but everything does feel in excellent order

On the palate there is a sumptuousness yet no lack of acidity and smart sophisticated tannin shore in ripe

rich but elegant

which expresses aromas of fresh fruit and ripe pears

Harvested all in one day

Post-ferment the wines were left on yeast lees for a touch of added texture before blending and bottling in July 2021

the fruit is then whole bunch pressed and racked to tank for a temperature-controlled fermentation

The wine has plush fruit flavours of plum and blackberry

juicy and alive with dark berried fruits
