Fender Blacktop Precision Bass - Bakelite 10PRThis replacement Blacktop P Bass pickguard will only fit a genuine Fender Blacktop Precision Bass. It will not fit American Standard, Deluxe, Mexican or Squier Fender P Bass instruments. Made from genuine paper phenolic bakelite measuring 2mm thick and does not have any outer bevel around the edge of the pickguard.

Centre to centre of the two outer mounting holes - 56mm

Suitable for Gibson Humbuckers and Kent Armstrong Humbuckers

175mm thick with a 45 degree bevelled outer edge

which are of course very hard to obtain nowadays

String Pitch (spacing) = 2 1/16 in

A beautiful guard that has the proper Black/White/Black/White/Black 5ply colour and thickness

This then screws into the trem unit like a normal vintage bridge but there is also a small grub screw on the bridge unit to tighten the arm and lock it in position
