Delord Armagnac 1979 Chenin BlancThis vintage is a quite special incoming from the Tenareze region when most of the expressions we see in Australia are Bas Armagnac. With a soil that is more limestone and clay than the sandier soil of the other regions, generally, Tenareze distillate can be more powerful and benefit from longer ageing. Nose: Fruits of kirsch, cherry plum Mirabelle, almond and cherry stone. Palate: Bitter orange, liquorice. Has a long, mellow finish. 40% ABV 700ml
